After just over a year of storage and just in time for Järna Tvåleri's 1st birthday, a limited edition of this exclusive soap made from 100% organic and biodynamic olive oil is now being released.
A soap made from 100% olive oil is traditionally called Castile soap and is very nurturing and gentle on the skin. This soap also contains salt and clay (pink and red) for an extra smooth and pleasant washing experience. It also makes the soap a little harder than a normal castile soap.
With a Castile soap, on the other hand, you have to work a little to get a lighter lather.
The soap's colors come from the olive oil and the pink and red clay. On top, the soap is decorated with dried rose buds and rose petals.
The scent was once a complex mixture of essential oils from, among other things, lavender, ginger and patchouli - but has almost completely disappeared after the long storage.

For those of you who live nearby, it's fine to tick Pick-up instead of Shipping. When you receive a notice that your order is fully packed, just come and pick them up.

Weight and size
The soaps weigh about 115 grams when cut and then decrease in weight during storage, while also becoming more efficient. Järna Tvåleri stores these soaps for 4-6 weeks.
The shape the soaps are made in is 5.5 cm wide and they are cut 2.5 cm thick. The length of the soaps varies due to the composition of the recipe and they are usually 8-10 cm high.

Take care of your soap to make it last longer and stay fresh!
All soaps do well to dry up completely between uses. Therefore, try to aim for a suspension/soap dish/soap bag that has as little contact surface with the soaps as possible and that as much air circulates around the soap as possible.
Soaps are fresh products to some extent. Within six months, the scents and colors fade. If you are unlucky, the fat in overfatted soaps can go rancid after a few years, in which case you can tell by the smell. But many soaps just get better and better during storage and this is especially true of olive soaps such as castile soaps and Aleppo soaps.
Tip: If you find the soaps smearing in the sink, just spray with vinegar spray or bathroom cleaner and wipe with a cloth.
