Salt licorice
Salt licorice
This soap is a richly foaming coconut soap with nourishing castor oil and substantial superfatting of 20% so as not to dry out the skin. If you know you have extra sensitive skin, choose one of the recipes with the largest proportion of rapeseed oil or olive oil instead. The foam is compact and creamy.
Salt licorice on string is suspended in twisted black hemp yarn with two fine lava stones and two painted wooden beads.
All products are handmade and therefore all look different - the content, size and quality, however, are always the same.

Storage and durability
Storage and durability
Take care of your soap to make it last longer and stay fresh!
All soaps do well to dry up completely between uses. Therefore, try to aim for a suspension/soap dish/soap bag that has as little contact surface with the soaps as possible and that as much air circulates around the soap as possible.
Soaps are fresh products to some extent. Within six months, the scents and colors fade. If you are unlucky, the fat in overfatted soaps can go rancid after a few years, in which case you can tell by the smell. But many soaps just get better and better during storage and this is especially true of olive soaps such as castile soaps and Aleppo soaps.
Tip: If you find the soaps smearing in the sink, just spray with vinegar spray or bathroom cleaner and wipe with a cloth.
